About AiCost

AiCost is a free tool site for one question: what do you really pay for AI? It prices AI subscriptions tier by tier (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI, Midjourney, Perplexity, Copilot, Cursor, SuperGrok), totals your personal stack into an honest monthly and yearly bill, and converts API token usage into dollars across the major providers.

Where the prices come from

All rates are public list prices collected in October 2026 from each provider's official pricing pages. We don't invent numbers and we don't estimate your usage — every calculator shows its rate assumptions next to the result. Providers change tiers and prices often; treat results as budgeting estimates and confirm on the official page before any billing decision.

What this site is not

It is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any provider. It never asks for API keys, passwords, or account access — there is nothing to log into here. It does not read your bank statements or billing dashboards; you bring the numbers, we do the arithmetic.

Privacy in one line

All calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type or paste into a calculator is stored, uploaded, or sent anywhere — including the usage JSON in the API calculator, which is parsed client-side. See the privacy policy for the full story.
